Sage One is the perfect cloud based solution for contractors who want to keep it simple. Sage One includes Job and Division Costing, Bank Feeds, and Payment Processing. It is easy to use and the interface is so simple that any bookkeeper can jump right in and start using it. Subscriptions start at $25 per month and includes unlimited users. QuickBooks Online + Knowify

Many contractors currently use Quickbooks, but as the desktop versions become obsolete many are faced with the task of switching to QuickBooks Online. The main problem with this is that QBO, although rich with features, does not provide job costing information in an easily obtainable fashion. This is no longer a problem with the add-on app, Knowify. Knowify is powerful add-on, made for contractors, which runs on top of QBO.
